Trelby is a free screenwriting software available for Windows and Linux. Recently, when I installed GalliumOS on my Chromebook (a topic for another time), I sought out a variety of software to install; chief among them were apps for writing. When I discovered Trelby was a thing, I promptly downloaded it and ran into software dependency issues, the bane of any Linux install.

A civilization constructed purely from living ideas, the Seven-Day Hegemony had accomplished much in their limited time span. Were they extant in the physical realm, their territory would have spanned a quarter of the universe. Their greatness was owed as much to their form as their origins; being living ideas, they had no need for rest or food. Some did sleep, however, merely to experience it in their forms, and an entire subculture within the Seven-Day Hegemony arose based solely on the idea of “cooking” – as such could exist in a memetic realm- for the sake of art.

The darkness is suffocating. Your mind buzzes with the dread of the limited light and the enormity of what lay behind you- the edge of creation, the wall of night culled from myth beyond which nothing you or I can comprehend exists.  

At this proximity to the edge of the universe, one’s sense of self becomes transient, because you- as I know you are doing right now- are attempting to contextualize your place in the face of such enormity.

Were I capable, I would wish that I could alleviate your concerns. Regardless, it would be a pointless endeavor.

The real issue becomes not that you are feeling this way, but why you are feeling this way.
